Lake Holden Inn Is Bass Fishing ...Plus

What a find!

Bass fishing at it's excellence is what I find so easily accessible at the only hotel that provides immediate, easy access to Lake Holden... Lake Holden Inn. Just two short red lights off Interstate 4 in Orlando, Florida allow for easy access to and from attractions such as Disney, Wide World Of Sports, Busch Gardens, and others while still keeping just close enough to Orlando's hopping downtown. Excellent busing service provided by the City's Public bus system Lynx saves wear and tear on the car as it hits all points Orlando including the attractions.

This hotel was the first Motor Lodge in the Orlando area when it first opened in 1960 as a Motor Lodge and Restaurant.

Originally, the Motor Lodge offered just 48 guest rooms in three separate buildings... all two-story... all exterior entry guest buildings. However time caught up with the hotel as Walt Disney World, Wide World of Sports,Gatorland, Orlando's Famous Downtown, and the attractions on International Drive drew in the crowds. 16 additional rooms now help to provide for visitors to the area.

Names Change Through The Years:

The Motor Lodge was acquired By The Howard Johnson Company in 1972. By 1987 The Howard Johnson Company was gone and the hotel became Choice Inn. It should also be noted that the restaurant that once fed the crowd is gone due the the necessity of widening the Orange Blossom Trail where the hotel is located against Lake Holden.
Even without the restaurant guests find meals easy to get, either at the close by fast food places, restaurants along Orange Blossom Trail, or by having food delivered by the many local merchants.
Now the hotel is no longer the Choice Inn the Hotel. Instead, standing against the pristine banks of Lake Holden, it stands as LAKE HOLDEN INN.

LAKE HOLDEN TODAY:

Todays guests include not only travellers and tourists, but many of the locals enjoy taking a room for a night or so to get a chance at the early morning and late evening bass and catfish fishing.
Guests find a comfort in the way management provides for a certain "little-village-of-it's-own" feeling in this gated hotel community.

It's a feeling one can only enjoy by visiting the LAKE HOLDEN INN.
